Peace Mediation?

"Peace mediation is a transformative approach to mediation."
A professor kept nudging me to take a look at a USIP (United States Institute of Peace) page offering free courses on peace mediation. I wondered what it was all about.
Why does it matter? Because there is a specific vocabulary for articulating "processes" in this context. Or how else can I put it?
We need a few of our citizens to master this vocabulary, for all intents and purposes.
PS: If you think "big grammar" is unimportant, wait till you hear the version française.

Grammar focus: the PS (postscript). PS (Latin post scriptum, "written after") adds a thought after the main text. The author often uses a PS for a sharper, lighter or more personal point.
